The Prep Course

Regardless of a personís past athletic experience or current level of fitness, everyone who first comes to Dynasty CrossFit is provided with the opportunity to learn about basic techniques, terminology, warm-ups and exercises before participating in regular classes. Taught by one of our certified trainers, these classes are for first-timers and consist of four, 60-minute private sessions. Youíll also receive a nutrition consult and packet to help you stay on track! Additionally, we will take a body composition analysis to measure body fat and lean muscle mass.

The Prep Course is where youíll get that one-on-one attention to ensure you start off on the correct path. As you work through the 6 sessions, you will learn about the correct form for functional CrossFit movements, and slowly work up to increase your level of intensity. The Prep Course is the perfect place to ask questions and gain confidence in the movements before transitioning into our regular classes. Attendance and†participation is mandatory, so if you are unable to make a session, contact your coach who will work with you to reschedule.

This is without a doubt the best way to get an athlete ďpreparedĒ for CrossFit. Here at Dynasty CrossFit we have a huge emphasis on safety for our athletes and prospective members. We require seasoned athletes and soccer moms alike to go through the program. CrossFit is all about scalability, and this holds true even in our Prep Course.

Do I need a contract?

Will I like group classes?

We donít know, everyone is different. 20% of our members ONLY do Personal Training,†BUT our group classes are extremely motivating and there is an indefinable magic that emerges when people are pulling for each other in class. The magic comes from the mixture of competition and team work, which will drive you to personal performance you never dreamed was possible, and from the support of your classmates, which make the workouts fun and even inspiring.

Do I need to be in shape first?

No, No, No, No.†This is the most common misconception about CrossFit.†Yes, it has a reputation for being hard, but all of our workouts will be scaled and modified to accommodate whatever level of fitness youíre at now.†Dynasty CrossFit is for the super fit who want to take it up a notch AND for the person whoís lifted nothing but paperclips for the last ten years.†The tools for both sorts of people are built right into the Dynasty CrossFit method.

Donít decide you have to get in shape first to come here to get in shape. Thatís a recipe for never starting.†We work with all kinds of people in all kinds of shape, which is an enormous source of pride for us.

The Fine Print

You are required to give a 30-day notice to cancel a membership with no exception.†You cannot put a hold on your membership. Think of it as putting your cable or cell phone bill on hold because you canít use it for 2 weeks.†You must have completed our Prep Course if you donít have 3-6 months of CrossFit experience at a certified location within the past year.†Coaches are available for personal training. You do not need to be a member.†Monthly memberships auto-renew, but again, you can cancel at any time.
